Continence Assessment

Our Continence Assessment services offer an individual and comprehensive review of a person’s bladder and bowel health, medical history, and daily habits. This helps to develop an effective and personalised plan to improve quality of life. Footsteps is a registered NDIS and Aged Care continence assessment provider, supporting clients of all ages and with a range of conditions. Other sources of funding might also be accessible such as MASS and DVA.

We provide in-person Continence Assessment services in Brisbane, Logan, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Scenic Rim, Ipswich and surrounding areas.

Our approach to Continence Assessment

Our Continence Assessment service is dedicated to evaluating and addressing challenges related to bladder and bowel control. We conduct thorough assessments and provide personalised strategies to enhance continence, improve quality of life, and empower you and your clients to manage and overcome challenges related to incontinence.

By combining clinical expertise with a compassionate approach, we develop tailored strategies that aim to improve comfort, independence, and quality of life. We also work closely with families, carers, and other health professionals to ensure ongoing support and effective management.

At Footsteps, all our nurses are registered under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (or APHRA) and are screened by the NDIS.
