How Safe and Sound Protocol therapy works
Safe and Sound Protocol therapy includes five hours of listening intervention designed to support emotional regulation and sense of safety, and decrease auditory sensitivity and general stress. The therapy can be delivered as a stand-alone intervention or in conjunction with traditional therapy, counselling and/or behaviour support.
SSP therapy is delivered in three main phases:
In the first phase, we work with you to identify baseline measurements and understand your goals and the hurdles you are experiencing, to ensure the intervention focuses on what is important for you
During the second phase, clients participate in 5 hours of SSP audio therapy, delivered by our certified SSP Therapy practitioner over a minimum of 10 sessions
In the third phase, we deliver our final assessment with recommendations from our registered therapists to support you in maximising the benefits of the therapy
