What is the NDIS?
The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.
Am I eligible for the NDIS?
Each case is assessed individually, but broadly speaking you must:
- Be under 65 years of age.
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a protected special category visa.
- Have a permanent disability that substantially reduces your functional capacity, or you need access to early intervention supports

Footsteps Community Services is a NDIS registered and approved service provider, and as such we know that it can be quite daunting to start your NDIS journey. Our Support Coordinators can assist you in accessing the NDIS, build your capacity to navigate your NDIS plan, explore your options to maximise your funding, and assist you in making sure your NDIS goals are realised.
