Determined to bring more meaning to my professional life, several years ago I decided to change careers. In the disability sector, I began as a support worker and progressed to Support Coordination. I am passionate about helping clients to achieve their goals and increase their independence and I take great joy in being part of their journey.
I have built a strong network to ensure my participants are connected with providers who engage promptly and effectively assist in reaching their goals. I am a family man with a wife and four children. I love the outdoors, especially the beach, camping, and fishing.
With over 25 years of experience in the community services industry, I am passionate about helping people and making a meaningful difference in their lives. I have built a diverse and impactful career across several key sectors, including the NDIS and aged care.
I maintain a strong focus on client care, training, and team leadership, and am committed to improving client outcomes and fostering environments where my team and clients thrive. Outside of Footsteps, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, cherishing family moments, and creating lasting memories.
I am the team leader for individual therapy at Footsteps and I consider myself an eclectic therapist. I adopt a strength-based perspective, meaning I incorporate various theories to suit the client and utilise the strengths of each individual client.
I have been in the community services industry for over ten years and have both a counselling and social work background. My clients ages vary, from the very young to the elderly, and I have a particular speciality in working with clients that have complex psychological needs.
Hi! My name is Bianca, I am a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and Personal Assistant. I have been working with Footsteps Community Services for 3 years and plan on being here many more. Originally, I started my career in the health sector 7 years ago working as a support worker, but through my studies at university I have an end goal of becoming a registered Occupational Therapist.
My interests consist of reading, cozy gaming and aerial aerobics. I enjoy working with all age groups but have an affinity for aged care. Every day I try and put forward my best self and seek to uplift others around me.
Introducing Harley, she is full of energy and passion in every aspect of life. When not in the office she is living her best life on a small homestead with pet ducks and bountiful gardens.
Harley has been with Footsteps since 2022, beginning as an Admin Assistant, and working hard to achieve the role of Finance Officer. Having just completed a Master’s Degree in Business, she strives to continue her career taking on any challenge she can. While most appreciated for her diverse perspective she nestled perfectly into her Finance Role as “numbers always make sense”.
My name is Emma, and I am an Administration Support in the back-of-house operations at Footsteps. In this role, I am responsible for establishing Service Agreements for our clients, ensuring that all services are properly documented and customised to meet their specific needs.
In addition to my professional responsibilities, I have a deep passion for music, both as a listener and as a performer.
Our therapy dogs play an integral role in providing comfort and support to everyone they meet.
We believe in thinking differently and we encourage our team to do the same. Our collaborative team are committed to making a difference in the community and in the lives of the people we support.
