Footsteps Community Services - Therapy and Disability Support in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan, and Ipswich

Understanding & Accessing the NDIS

As a registered NDIS provider, we are here to help you prepare for, understand, and navigate the NDIS, ensuring that you maximize your plan.

We offer NDIS services in Brisbane, Logan, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Scenic Rim, Ipswich and surrounding areas, and via telehealth services Australia-wide.

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible individuals with a disability so that they can access the supports and services they need to live and enjoy their lives. The funding can support your ability to spend more time with family and friends, increase your independence, learn new skills, and provide access to jobs and volunteering in your community, with the aim of improving your quality of life.

Footsteps is a registered NDIS provider. Our organisation is approved by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to provide support to a wide range of participants, including those with NDIA-managed funding.

Applying for NDIS funding

Our team can help you determine if you are eligible for NDIS funding and assist you with the necessary assessments to access NDIS funding and support. Our support coordinators are available to assist you throughout your NDIS journey, ensuring that you make the most of your plan.

How we can support you with accessing the NDIS

Read our guide to endorsing your registered NDIS provider

Endorsing your registered NDIS provider on PACE

If you work with a registered NDIS provider like Footsteps, you will need to contact the NDIS and tell them which provider you work with.  This is so that they can connect with your plan in the PACE system, and is known as endorsing your provider.

You can endorse your provider:

If your NDIS Plan is on the new PACE system and Footsteps is already your registered NDIS provider, you can simply call the NDIA on 1800 800 110 and ask them to endorse Footsteps Community Services (provider registration number 4050065204) as your provider.

A guardian or nominee can also contact the NDIA to endorse Footsteps on your behalf.

Learn more about the NDIS

If you think you might be eligible for the NDIS, you can download an Access Request Form (ARF), and a Supporting Evidence Form (SEF) and work with your GP, allied health, and specialist medical professionals to prepare and provide the information required.

You can find out more, and download the forms here.
